SOTD: Sat 10/11/12 to Fri 16/11/11

Pre-shave: Hot bath, Clinique cleansing bar
Razor: Ever Ready Streamline
Blade: Gem
Brush: Edwin Jagger
Cream: TOBS Sandalwood
Post-shave: Cold water, Edwin Jagger pre-shave

First go at face lathering today. I need practice as the lather was a bit dry. However, the mighty Streamline powered through it no problem. One pass WTG and two XTG.

Possibly because of the lather, I got a bbs but a bit of mild irritation all over my face. The EJ pre-shave is absolutely amazing when this happens. HUGE menthol kick may be a bit much for some, but a small fingertip sized blob is enough and it leaves even irritated skin feeling wonderful. It really is the best thing if you shave too close.

Today's shave

Went back to the BK4 brush and hey presto,no irritation.
I think I have worked this razor out now. I don't know why but it reminds me of my rolls razor....just a lot more aggressive.

parker 91r
supermax super platinum
semogue oc 2 band
TOBS st james shaving cream
pinaud classic vanilla AS/ 444

excellent shave. first shave with a parker razor and i have to say i really like it, seems to shave at an odd angle but it does a good job.

Didn't really feel like shaving tonight. Very unlike me! So decided to let the side down by using a cartridge razor.
Wilkinson Sword FX Performer with FX Performer cartridge
Erasmic tallow shaving stick. This isn't the Supreme one I've tried before. Lather a bit thin but worked well enough I guess with the Edwin Jagger boar brush.
Superdrug Forest Fresh a/s

Decent two pass shave. Unexciting but effective.
