I was bidding on 3 just before christmas and won them all for all around 50. Resold the two spare for somthing similar

I think 50 seems to be a fair price for a fatboy these days. Recent prices on the bay have just been mental.

I bought one of those aluminium handled techs for less than a fiver including shipping. In my experience, taking a punt on the cheaper 'vintage razors' that have no further identification has been profitable if you're looking to shave with it

While I wouldn't pay that, is that not the "James Bond" date for a Slim? I'd imagine a serious fan/collector would pay above average for that.

That's a big price. I have a J3 Adjustable, which has been re-plated silver, and paid something like £25 a couple of years ago. Better than saving the money in the Building Society on that basis.

As an aside, how does the silver slim look? Have you put photos up before?

Mine was just under £25 after postage from the US in 2010. Had to wait over a month for it but it turned up eventually (wasn't only customs who held it up). Mine looks to be in the same condition but is a K so not got the 007 laser beam facility

Very Nice! It's got a good "glow" to it.

I'm toying with the idea of sending mine off to get black chrome plated. Then I'll try and do the numbers with red enamel.

I'm not allowed to touch the washing machine, I will either shrink things or turn things the wrong colours.
