After a day of ferreting about in the garden I thought it'd be the perfect setting for my SOTD pic! Once taken I rinsed the mud from the razor and did a nice 3 pass. Mixed to 444 with some witch hazel to finish. Now its time to set about dinner - Vive Sundays!

Sunday Evening Shave

1906 Gillette Old OC
Gillette Superthin (4)
Beejay Custom
Nanny's Yushu
Woodhead scuttle
Witch Hazel
Trumper Lime skin food

Much better shave today after yesterdays crap one.

Decided to experiment tonight after my two most aggressive razors (this and the Joris) have left me bleeding after each shave.

So did two WTG passes and one ATG pass and the results are very pleasing. A close shave with hardly any irritation and only a couple of small nicks. Nothing like before.

Mind you, shaving with this razor is a real rollercoaster ride. I am constantly aware of how aggressive it is, and you really have to use a feather touch as you can really feel the 'caress' of the blade.

AS: Fones, Malibu
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very, very clean :D

My God, this was a sharp little wedgy blade! The Nick twins came by and visit (nothing serious though), Neil honed this blade and he must have finished on the Shapton GS 16k, one sharp and stiff blade this ... But I like it :D
