Hot shower, T+H pre shave oil
Godrej deluxe lime shaving cream
Edwin Jagger pure badger
Merkur 34C, Gillette 7 o'clock super stainless green (2)
Cold rinse, alum
Ogalalla bay rum limes and peppercorns

With the lemon and bergamot in the oil, the lime in the shaving cream, and the lime in the splash, it's a very citrussy shave, which on such a beautiful spring day is just the ticket.

First straight shave since Friday as tazz was sending me up a paddle strop so razor stropped went ahead today.
Only 1 nick this time but will still need a lot of practice but really enjoying the straight experience.

Morning, sleepy again today but did two passes today, some how missed a weep spot on my chin and right cheek but i was half asleep so its was not much to get worried about.

nice and baby smooth other than that and no irritation :D

Torn between the sandalwood and the wild rose, not sure what i like yet.

Nice lather today. Bit of red on the neck, still trying to get into my technique that there is need for only one stroke in an area on each pass rather than a couple of scrapes like a cartridge would require.

Still a good shave though.

A momentary lapse of concentration this morning opened up a 1cm nick on my lower neck that bled nicely for a while :eek: . First time I've drawn blood this year, and just as I was starting to feel satisfied with my 5-months-in DE technique. Valuable lesson - respect the blade at all times!

Nice smooth shave, but, about half an hour later I'm feeling my face and it's not so close a shave and I'm not sure why as it felt nice n close as I was applying the balm :cry:

The Schick is a nice blade. Not quite as sharp as the Iridium, but still good.
