My first time with this blade.

The Shark went surprising well through 2 days growth with very little tugging and no irritation. A decent blade - but not too refined

Tuesday: No music. EJ89 loaded with a pif'd Croma blade (1), T&H Grafton shaving cream, Vulfix 404 badger/boar. Good clean 3 pass shave with touch-up on the jaw corner troublespots (getting better!). Few very small weepers, easily dealt with by the alum block. Followed up with some Nivea sensitive post shave balm, straight onto the freshly rinsed coupon. It's another Barbershop Bay Rum Day, which I will be splashing on just before heading off to work in half an hour. Feeling mighty envigorated from the shave :shave !

0645 update: went upstairs to apply the bay rum, only to find I look like I've been dooking for mince! Something in the shave hasn't exactly agreed with me. Looks like acne has returned More balm please Nurse!

Summary: Yesterday I touched up this edge, this is not a great razor, but it can shave with efficiency. The soap is one of my favs, and after this great lather. The balm is not a maple syrup, is a fresh balm, with extracts from the maple, it's good but nothing special....but....those canadians can make everything with maple. Fragonard is classy, perfect for daily use.
