Hot towel
Ever Ready 12a/ Tabac ( Like an old friend is Tabac, never disappoints :) )
Gillette flair/Personna red (easy, smooth comfortable shave)
Alum
Porters Hired Hand ( much to my wife's displeasure :) ) I do like this stuff though.

Coffee, back to work, then workshop this afternoon :)

Okay so while waiting for LA to wake and having the joy of working from home, I set about having a nice relaxed shave today so:
Shower
Coral skin food (pre shave)
Simpson Milk churn brush
Occitane soap
Straight (New scales by Arrowhead)
Slim loaded with a feather blade (just for touch up)
and Melody Gardot CD playing
Coral skin food for after

Came out of the bathroom ready to face the day, But most of all ready to do all my scouting work to find venues, Its amazing how powerful you feel when clean shaved and also when the client skypes I don't look like I have not shaved for a week :D

Its dead, it finally died mid way through the shave but I carried on for a CCS, now this Plat was not a "Swede" but a Russian Plat, not bad, so thats 8 & 9 shaves out of Russian Plats and I have a heavy beard and can shave twice a day, so this isa blade I must stock up on. The cheapo brush also performed well [trying to brake it in to use as a travel brush].

Razor Merkur 38r 7 o'clock sharp edge.
Post block osma, EJ Aftershave balm with aloe.

Close but some irritation. Not as nice result as previous.

I've been looking at those for a couple of days, finally pulled the trigger, wish i could afford these.

Shake 3x. 1min usable lather. 3 pass. Dry lather within minute. Rework lather. No noticeable funk. Dye oozed from knot. Nicely accentuated at bottom handle. Comfortable grip. Did not splay out as much as Vie-Long 12315. Reckon it's due to being new.
