First time using the CH1 with a stick in quite a while, was noticeable how much warmth this super-dense brush retains as much as anything...overall another very nice shave.

Result: Very, very clean :D

First try with a 7 o'clock Green (thanks Canuck). Better than the Yellows? Quite possibly.
 
After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep;

Surrey SS (pre VDH reformulation)

St Johns Bay Rum cologne

Shave #6 with this blade....still very sharp and smooth.

Unusual time of day for myself to have a shave mid afternoon, but the house was empty and I really enjoyed the shave, listening to vintage TV 60s and 70s, if only I could go back just for a month to the late 1960s, why dont I just shut and stop being a poor nostalgic old fart, and talk about the shave, one shave pass, yes boys you heard right one pass, i was cooking on gas today with minor clean up, that Feather AS-D1 was like it was being used by the greatest Samurai warrior Miyamoto Musashi, if those whiskers had legs man they would have run a mile.

This was a test shave after trying an experiment using with my Dragon's Tongue hone with oil as a finisher, the result was very promising :)​
