Weber polished, Rapira SS (3)
Cold splash, alum block
Clinique post-shave soother

I was on my "A game" today... as those sportsman chappies tend to say. Smooth and irritation-free

... and happy birthday NTS!

This morning:

Prep: Cold rinse
Razor: Taylor Eye Witness, 5/8", in (imitation) ivory
Brush: Neep #1213 Aztec in malachite (29mm extra silvertip)
Soap: L'Occitane Cade
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Yellow Ginger

Feeling a trifle better.

WARS
Vulfix Bodger
#11H service set New, Derby
Barbershop Bay Rum
RSc balm

This razor has relegated the rest of my small collection to the subs bench. I can see the others being transfer listed at this rate, with more vintage Gillettes being the new transfer targets. It even allows a comfortable ATG pass with a Derby! BBS.

Una Brennan Brighten & Refine Facial Scrub
Razor Vintage Japanese Orion Kikuboshi 13/16
Strop Kanayama Cordovan #8000
Brush Simpsons Chubby 1 in Super
L'Occitane Cade Soap
Alum & Witch Hazel
L'Occitane Baux Balm
L'Occitane Baux Edt

Jamie.

I love the way this razor shaves, but even though it says extra hollow to me looking at the grind I would say half or even a quarter hollow ground, makes no difference really it's still a superb razor, two pass shave BBS.

Pre hot towel + De Verguldehand shaving cream + Artisan TGN Finest 26 mm. brush + Gillette Contour with Soltech Feather #2 + Thayers Medicated + Mennen Grand Large with La Chinata balm

Second use of this Feather cartridge, this time I have found it a bit irritating with some nicks, don't know why... Anyway I got a close shave so I'll continue testing it.

Cheers!

Hot shower
Hot flannel
Irisch moos cream scuttle lathered
Sipsons Tulip 1 super badger brush
Merkur Progress long handle set at 2.5
Vintage Perma-sharp made in Scotland (3)
Cold rinse
Witch hazel
Irisch moos aftershave balsam

Lovely smooth and comfortable shave. First time out with the Tulip brush I wondered if the handle would be a tad short for scuttle lathering. I was pleased to find it usefull and no difficulties at all with the scuttle. Last shave with the Scottish Perma-sharp a good blade (thanks to Hairsuite).
