Hot flannel
Proraso Pre, Green
NF Tubby 1 brush, Nanny's Cedarwood and Vetyver hard soap
Weber Polished, Astra SP (1)
Cold splash, Alum block
Clinique post-shave healer
What a difference a day makes. After yesterday's bloodbath I decided to go with the Weber/Astra combination... carefully.. face still sore
Managed to get the most awesome lather from the hard soap. I thought I preferred Nanny's soft soap, now I'm not too sure. I've decided that the extra effort and concentration required from getting a good lather from a soap (raqther than a cream) puts you in the right frame of mind for decent prep overall, which is a good thing... time permitting
Also decided that the Proraso Green is preferable to the White (for me). The white seems a bit granular and doesn't go on as smoothly and evenly... think I'll be buying a mega tub of the Green and saving the little tub for travel.
