Acquisitions - October 2021

never been more excited about getting a razor as I have with this Rockwell 6s, tbh I'm very chuffed to get this razor

looks and feels amazing, really hope it delivers when it comes to shaving

also interested to see if I like or don't like the fact that you have to change plates where I'm normally just to just switching the dial

Well Lads
Feeling a bit fed up today the weather was dreek & i was feeling a bit crabbit, when the wife said let’s take a drive to Dundee
Now i live around an hour & a half’s drive so it could only mean one thing
a trio to @The gentlemans groom room.
Man my mood lifted instantly like a kid in a sweetie shop.
Man what a place
if ever there was an aladdin’s cave then this is it.
Everything you could ever want.
well everything i want.
Plus Ian The owner is absolute class,
So welcoming & knowledgeable.
I went with a plan
Not to spend just for the sake of it,
by the time i left Edinburgh i thought hey why not lol.
I decided to go down the Scottish Route
well it would be rude not to,
i can’t call myself a wet shaver & not have anything from my own country.
The Brush in the first two pictures is made from Oak Whisky Barrels and is a 24mm High Mountain Badger
The May Chang, Buda Wood & Berry Fields O’Blair are actually Wickham’s Soaps
So all for a good pedigree.
The Brush at the bottom also arrived from the states today from Bobby Moffat
which is a 26mm High Mountain.

... indeed, a very patriotic purchase there Mike.

Budda Wood, to my nose (and you'd think so looking at my attar collection), is a wonderful scent that I absolutely love. I have the Wickham label version, but really should buy the TGGR label along with the aftershave.

Nice one! Enjoy them.
