I've eyed the brush myself. I presume it's not a Plissoft fibre, do you know what it is, is it G4? What is the glue bump like?

The bump is there but small, most likely exaggerated by the fact the knot does seem like it’s tightly packed in the 22mm handle. This also makes its seem like it has a good strong backbone to it. I’m not sure on the fibre if I’m honest brushes are an area I need to get into more. It’s very similar to the Yaqi moka fibre, to be honest though it’s a little firmer/rougher, to the point where if I didn’t know better I’d swear it was a badger!
That said for what I paid I’m more than happy. But the true test will be tomorrow’s shave.

Neither do I. I got mine about a week ago. However I am a little disappointed. I am pretty sure the vendor promised the V3 abandoned head FOC as he had already taken delivery. Nothing was forthcoming

The generosity of the people within the wet shaving community is amazing. I tried to order a brush handle from an Etsy seller with a specific colour specification but due to personal circumstances he’s been unable to complete it. I was fine with this but as way of compensating me, (though he wouldn’t take any cash) he sent me an alternate handle and a complete brush! I was going to order another handle only last night and these arrived in the morning! I just need to set the 26mm AP shave co. synbad knot and it will be good to go!
I will definitely be buying one properly from him in the future!

The soap is a different scent. The shaving soap is kinda similar, but weaker. It's a lot like vintage Denim, to be honest.
