The soap & matching splash smells really nice and strong. The lather created by the excellent brush was fabulous...
Still a good shave with this blade in the razor. Although not as smooth nor efficient but still easy & comfortable enough in 3passes for a dfs+ finish

Additional Care: Shave Music Courtesy Of A 1940's Jazz Playlist To Match The Age Of The Razor
Additional Care: Wife Sniff Test = Not Too Bad At All

So this weeks theme is through the decades. Starting today I will be trying to match the razor and possibly soap if I can to the relevant decade (this is not an exact science).

Today we start in the 1940's with the Gillette Fat Handled Tech. The soap and smellies have to be Spitfire. The brush is my only boar brush as they had no synthetics is those days.

I needed to transfer the remnants of soap into my copper bowl so as not to be chasing it around the tub sides. A few shaves left at the most after today's. Have a good day !

@Dave in KY condolences. Remembering the good times, great way to honour your dad.

I will be short and sweet, I used a sample of tallow Tabac, much slicker than the new one I have. Copy of a feather shavette with a feather pro blade. I'm still not that good with it, so finished off with Wizamet loaded Tech.

My condolences, I’m sorry for your loss. I lost my Father a few years ago and miss him terribly but always look back on the positive impact and live he gave me and all those around him.
