Mon 31st October

The Grosvenor 404mixed
Lea Classic soap
Claymore Evolution
Feather Proguard ( 7 )
Lea Classic A/S lotion

As still not 100% am spoiling my self, by having a rather guaranteed quality Shave. With a nice Lather and no rush, 3 days growth despatched with ease and my face is squeeky clean and refreshed.

Oh, oh, he has it really bad guys he’s in lurv ;)
(I’m just jealous as recently I turned down an offer to buy an F type with box. Thought it was too expensive at $400. Really regret not scratching that itch. :( )
Fortunately I didn't have to fork out $400 for this razor, don't get me wrong, I probably would have!
Always scratch that itch! :)

Paul.

SOTD 31st October.

Razor - Schick F Type.
Blade - Schick - Japan.
Brush - Alpha Bulldog 28mm silvertip.
Soap - MdC Nature.
Post - GFT Eucris skin food.
Frag - GFT Eucris Edt.

Another wonderful shave with the Schick F Type, how can such a small razor give so much joy! :)

Stay safe out there!

Paul.
Looks really good Paul. Great find!
It's the same razor as @Dave in KY had one replated not long ago isn't it?

Monday

Been to a first aid refresher course this morning. Before that, I get my Tech (NOS no longer) out and loaded with a Gillette Super thin blade (Thai or Vietnamese, not quite sure).

Grabbed Stirling British Leather and had a really nice 2 pass plus pick ups shave for a DFS to see me on my way.

I'll get back to the tester samples tomorrow!

Now suitably refreshed on first aid and still feeling pretty smooth.

Think I will laze around for a few hours and make the most of my day's leave!

Ganders Goat Soap w/Hop, Sage & Birch
Boots Old English Lavender (Vintage) Shaving Bowl & Kent Infinity+ Silvertex Fibre
RADIO (Made in England) 1912 & GEM by Personna (7)
Pinaud Citrus Musk (as Aftershave)

We don't know for certain exactly what the RADIO 1912 is about ...

Yes, there's the older Radio Steel blades but my feeling is this razor is of the 1940s era and certainly related to the GEM (Made in England) that I shaved with yesterday as the font is of the same type. Same as the pictured Star Super Edge razor blades as well. Market? Well, yesterday's GEM was for the Australian market so it's not beyond belief that the RADIO might have been for some (other) far flung corner of the globe where British influence pervaded.

Shave? Same as any British 1912. The blade on its 7th run was super-smooth and with the highly efficient razor, my darn fine single pass shave was much enjoyed.

Here's some moody northern fellas to show you how ...

Yes it is the same type that Dave had replated, I may go down that road one day, until then Dave has the better looking razor! :)
It's all good though, no green eyed monster here! :)

Paul.
But Paul has the coveted CASE in good shape it appears. They seem to get warped somehow (heat?) and it prevents them from opening/closing properly. I'm happy for Paul........no really......... I am........ honest :ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO:

This Tech is very special to me, rarely used. It was found by my sister along with a couple of other of Dads things in Mam's vanity case when she passed. I do hope it was something he used on holiday but cannot confirm, to me it looks un-used. MIE heavy handle.
I used the Lea stick crayon style this morning and the stubble really picked up the soap. Now then, this water over in Cumbria is soft, we brought drinking water as it is too soft for us over here.
Shaving wise, everything feels slippy, i ended up doing a Coco t' clown juggling act during the second pass to stop me from dropping the Duke II again. All was well and i managed to catch it.
Loads of lather held in the brush from tip dipping and working up a nice face lather.
The Tech is a great bit of kit - No such thing as aggressive to mild then.
3 passes left me smoother than a balloon. My Dad had stubble like stair-rods and shaved twice a day, the Tech was his tool of choice.
A nice post shave and we have had a nice day out exploring our surroundings, the place we are staying at is so quiet, just what WE needed, however, poor Ruby is a bit unnerved by the gushing stream running around the property so i had a bit of a stressful night last night, after a long hilly walk she is flat out in her bed and i will stay with her through the night. i do hope she settles.
Bottles of Red 1 - 1 Tony'schin.
She is going in the bath next poor little bugger.
Anyway,
Bring on Boris Karloff and Lon Chaney Jr. for a black and white horror fest.
Stay safe and enjoy your day (and night) all

True Dave, but hen’s teeth have always been pretty rare to find and are are expensive especially this side of the pond, plus it had an immaculate box. If you can find me one with box for non crazy money I’ll take it :)
I'll keep my eye out for you! Mine popped up on eBay for $150 or best offer and I offered $110 to which they immediately accepted the offer. No case though. It cost $40 for the replate service and so I have just the original asking price of $150 invested in it.
