Another very comfortable shave with the ERA, again, i needed to complete 3 full passes, i definitely cannot get away with 2 passes using the #2 plate.
A nicely scented, slick lather mixed with the Taj Boar in the copper bowl, easy enough, although, like all the Proraso soaps i have tried it does leave a coating on the razor and a bit of a mess in the sink.
I have not really felt any degradation in the blade and have pushed them to 7 shaves it has been binned as i want to run a less sharp blade through the #3 plate.

A really good shave this morning with the Karve and a D plate. Smooth and very comfortable shave with a close finish. I think I now prefer the D plate to my previous choice of the C plate.

First use of the Palmolive cream, which I rather enjoyed. For the diminutive £1.79 tariff it was a really pleasant surprise for me. It did all the things a shaving cream ought to - pleasant scent with easy lathering, good stability, slickness and skin care. Perhaps unsurprisingly, directly reminiscent of Spanish Williams, Nivea or La Toja - which is fine, as I get on well with those. It will be used again for sure. Probably ought to get another tube at that price. It seemed natural to pair it with the Brut. All is well - cheers - I.

Oh - does anyone actually know where it is made? I've read the UK, Belgium or Germany - there is no clue on the packaging. Apparently there is an Italian variant or two to muddy the waters further.

I haven’t my outer box but I read the same country of yours on mine … Swidnica Poland .
Btw yes, ridiculous how good this cream is compared to some 40 €.
good INCI and fantastic post shave.

Notes: Roasted Coffee Bean, Bitter Almond, Allspice, Dark Chocolate, Cocoa Absolute, Green Coffee, Tonka Bean, Vanilla, Patchouli

Went for another 3 pass shave as usual have a couple of days growth used the fatboy again and really like the razor on my second use nice smooth and comfortable shave also the Macduffs soap performed well nice scent on the soap and the splash
