Switched the blade into the open comb plate and attached the light handle. Good solid shave , smooth face given a splash of aftershave.

Brush • Yaqi 24mm Tuxedo Marble Handle
Razor • Razorock Hawk V3 - Standard
Blade • Kai Protouch MG (4)
Post • Pinaud Clubman Aftershave
Hawk V3 & Protouch MG blade make for the smoothest shave. However, a little extra effort is needed and regrowth is a little faster than with non guarded blades.
Perhaps the trade off is worth it - or I need to find someone willing to sell me an (A plate)?
Given that most people favour the A plate, I doubt I will get lucky.

Precious soap since I just have a sample. Really awesome qualities, with just a little it became a huge cone of super-rich creamy & slick lather with a very nice scent too...
An excellent shave with the razor paired with this blade + shim. Just smooth and easy in 3passes for a bbs finish. Aftershaves were great too!

An invigorating early morning cold water shave.
It's been a while since i last used the Omega shaving cream and forgot how much easy it is to create a slick protective lather, with a good kick from the Eucalyptus oil to give my face sensors a vibrant winter morning wake up call!
Everything in my shave set up worked together superbly this morning resulting in a enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report.
Finishing to the shave off with a small dollop of The Real Shaving Co. SPF15 Anti-Ageing Moisturiser.
My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.

I forget how much I like shaving sticks, should really dig out some of my tub soap and make one or two. Just nice, compact and application straight to face has almost always ended up in a good lather. Good shave all around, smooth and refreshed!
Had some fun news yesterday:
Visitors went man down on Christmas day evening, I started with very mild symptoms on boxing day (damn disease ridden carrier monkeys!), everyone's all good though, just stuck in the house for 10 days(ish). Had my booster booked for yesterday as well, sods law!
Still stocked up with plenty of wine, beer and whisky...everything that's good for what ails you!
Hope everyone has a cracking day!

Christmas Day may have passed, but I'm still enjoying Turkey
The Arko produced voluminous lather, and the Red One was far nicer than the previously purchased sickly Thunderbolt. Coupled with the Supermax for a brilliant all-round finish.

With Two days growth to deal with I always use MWF or Vitos Red, as they both provide dependable lathers. With a great MWF lather and no rush, I was able to remove even the most stubborn areas of growth leaving my skin feeling soft and refreshed.

A super shave this morning. Two smooth passes and a very respectable result. Today the Blackland brush made short work of the B&M soap, quite a contrast to yesterday.
