I'd just leave it as is with the wonderful patina. Very resourceful & innovative machine work. (y)

I was unsure of the scent from this soap and ASL when I acquired them, but today it clicked for me. The Twist is also performing better now I've worked on a shallower angle. I'll leave you with an homage to both the razor and the soap/scent combo: Queen at the Rainbow in '74 :cool::love:

Excellent shave this morning, newly set boti knot has quite a bit of backbone but softish tips (thankfully not gelled to hell!), see how it develops but I might actually have got it set to my tastes out of the gate. Newly acquired carmichael is nice, not overpowering but you know it's there.

As I've finished the work week on a high, thought this was a fitting soap and splash to use. Super slick. Had to use my softest brush and at least StarCraft and Apogee go together.
Last outing for a couple of weeks for the Aristocrat #66, it's done a superb job, I nearly didn't have a shave this morning, but with these tools and accoutrements, why not.
Bring on the Christmas holiday.
