Merkur Mergress
Gillette Wilkinson/Gillette Silver Blue
Simpsons Trafalgar T3
Spearhead Heather soap and splash

The shave: Second use of the Mergress. I found Gillette Wilkinson blade very tuggy, which was a surprise as it worked a treat last time. I swapped it out for a Gillette Silver Blue. This blade was much smoother. I did nick myself a couple of times but the end results were amazing. This razor is extremely efficient.

The soap: The scent* is very strong, one which fills the bathroom. I didn't have any hint of a reaction to it either.
The lather came together very easily and was very creamy with a nice sheen to it. It reminds me of Noble Otter but more dense. Slickness was very good too.

Finished off with the matching splash left my skin very soft and supple.

*I couldn't place the scent from the tub but after a few hours the scent dries down to something similar to YSL Rive Gauche/Fine American Blend/ PAA CAD.

The soap is great but sadly I'm not too keen on the scent. I will probably sell it. This isn't great news as it cost me a bloody fortune!

Have a good week and stay safe Gents.

Cheers
Rob

Razor: Rex Ambassador #2
Blade: Gillette Platinum (3)
Brush: Yaqi Purple Haze
Soap: Signature Soaps Vectis
Pre: Proraso White
ASL: Signature Soaps Hibernia
ASB: Proraso Blue

The Vectis scent gets even better once lathered. It's now my #1 Signature Soaps scent. Lather was excellent as always. Paired with the Rex, this shave was always going to be a good one.

I've said it before but the Signature Soaps aftershaves feel great and seem to be the only artisan splashes that don't feel like they're about to light my face up (or have already).
Thanks as always Chris

Once they'll introduce the matching splashes - I'm going to order a set!

Great lather from the soap. Creamy, slick and very nice scent.
1st use of razor with the blade was very good. Quite smooth and comfortable for 3+1passes and result in a mostly bbs feel. Saw some creepers. Excellent post & aftershaves.
Another wow GEM razor similar to the Junior. Easy to use and although can't do a direct wtg under the nose but xtg and atg on the upper lips area are breezy.

Yaqi Heavy Metal - Erasmic - Triceratops 3D by Roger Quintero - GEM SSC #3 - Brut Attraction Totale A/S - Aloe Vera Gel

Have always had a good shave with Erasmic. I bought a new one recently during a brief lockdown trip to Savers for the great value of £2.49. It performed well above its value and gave a great result with the very manoeuvrable Triceratops. Three shaves down with this super razor, well impressed.
