I love stouts and coffee, so I thought the above cold brew Guinness would be ace. High expectations. Bought 4 tins, drank one, couldn't quite decide, drank the 2nd to give it a fair crack and decided it was neither fish nor fowl and didn't seem to synergise into more than the sum of its parts. I came to the conclusion I'd rather have a glass of cold brew or shot of espresso and a separate Guinness. I gave the other 2 to my mate. It wasn't horrible, I really had to think about it and wanted to like it but somehow it was slightly sweet and 'artificial' to my palate. YMMV especially anything involving taste.

I got pretty excited when I saw this in the supermarket as I thought it would be another zero alcohol Guinness. I've given up alcohol now. Left a little grumpy, I went home and poured myself a Guinness Zero on top of some coffee concentrate (I forget which brand ... freebie from work). Yep! That works!
