Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Pure Power Charcoal Face Wash and Proraso White
Razor: GEM MMOC
Blade: GEM SS PTFE (#5)
Brush: Hans Baier Silver Tip
Cream: Musgo Real Oak Moss
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel
AS: Nivea Soothing Balm

A fantastic shave with the GEM MMOC. The Musgo Real Cream is excellent, a nice scent too. One almost weeper but otherwise all good.
I've tried the musgo oak moss recently and I +1 your thoughts - love the smell.

Badger brush from China??
Gillette Tech

A little alum,
And Proraso Post Shave Balm.

I'm sticking with the same razor (and fighting urges to use new ones) but I used a new brush tonight that I received this week. Was trying to go a month with the same stuff but I failed miserably in the 2nd week, and now this!

The brush shed a couple of hairs but it was dirt cheap, delivered. Pretty good value. I dont own any other badger brushes but it's definitely whet my appetite for a Simpson or Rooney.

I also swapped the usual Nivea for Proraso tonight as my shave was excellent and I felt it deserved the upgrade.

Wickham 1912 Irish Fern
Razorock 400

Wilkinson Sword old stock/ vintage (1)
Lavender witch hazel mixture
Proraso Green ASL

Two and half days growth
First use of this razor for a couple of months. It's been on loan to my son who's recently got in to DE shaving .
While efficient it's not as keen as my Rockwell or slant razors.
Wickham soaps always perform, excellent lather easily whipped up very quickly.
Three passes later the grey whiskers are all gone.

Nice shave today DFS+ due to the presence of a weeper. I think it is time to change the blade as it was beginning to tug.

Enjoy your day!

Greetings All,

Wednesday shave.

One growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: Tabac
Razor: Rockwell 6C (3P)
Blade: Shark SS (1st)
Brush: RazoRock 400 Noir (face lather)

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, a shower and to conclude Tabac Aftershave and Nivea Sensitive Cooling.

Well now, that was SO much better than Monday's Crimson Fest. The Tabac is a soap to fall back on when you need a good, safe shave. The Shark SS blade is becoming one of my go to blades – no early use tugging just nice consistency. So, back on track and smiling this morning.

I have a new (Old) bit of hardware to try soon, Gillette Slim Adjustable, but will leave that for my relaxing Saturday shave)

The truth - a good shave is the best way to start the day. . . Happy Hump Day, All.

Cheers,

Brian
