Hi Blademonkey,nice pic. I had the first shave with the H2 yesterday but I don't think it's for me. It wasn't a terrible shave but also not the best I've had which is strange considering I get such a good shave off the R41.I'm swapping it for the R2 which may suit me more. What a lovely razor though!

I just found it overly aggressive compared to the R41. Perhaps that blade gap is just too much for me!

That's the great thing with ABOVE THE TIE their willingness to exchange their plates if you are not completely happy, I hope you get on with the R2.

Thank you Paul. I along with two close friends worked with Bob at Elite Razor to fashion a group of matching brushes. Thus the name "Tres Amigos". Paired with the Envy White knot, the brush has turned out better than we could have hoped.

How do you find the Feather and what blade in your opinion works best?

Hi Steve, I use the ASD2 with a feather blade when I only need a light shave, after using a feather AC the day Before.
After a ASD2 use I normaly go for something like the H2/ R2 or maybe one of my kamisori and tomorrow I will probably use my Hone 15.
I do like to mix it up a little and use all my razors in a kind of rotation.
