C&E moroccan myrhh shave soap

As promised here's my report.:p

Prep: Hot shower and Nivea face wash.
Pre: King of Shaves oil (Green bottle)
Brush: Razorock Pilssoft 24mm
Soap: Wickham's Citrus Musk (Sample from Shavedash)
Razor: ATT Atlas R1
Blade: PolSilver
Post: Warm and cold rinse plus Witch Hazel
Aftershave: Fine Platinum
Moisturiser: Nivea Sensitive Hydro Gel

My thoughts and first impression of the ATT:

The ATT was a joy to use and very efficient. Really liked the weight. It made it a lot easier to shave with no pressure.
I used the PolSilver blade for the first time and really liked it.
Again issues with the soap. Not going to go over old ground here.

I had four days growth and the ATT handled it with ease. The finished shave was the closest shave yet, alot closer TBH.

I've been using the Merkur 34c up until now and it has struggled with the first pass at times due to the thickness of my stubble.
The R1 was everything I'd hoped it would be. Efficient and not aggressive at all. No nicks, weepers or irritation.

Really glad I took the advice of everyone on this forum, thank you.

Enjoy the rest of your evening. I'm going to crack open a nice cold beer.

OK...really good post, and lots of detail that makes me want to check out the ATT Atlas R1. I also like your choice of AS splash and the fact that you used a Nivea balm afterwards - something that mirrors my own SOTD today. However, I have one question, that maybe on other people's minds too...

What's with the military issue condom in the shaving bowl in your piccy? Children can access this site you know!;):p:D

The military issue condom is in fact the Wickhams's sample.

This evenings shave.
I cannot get the Mongoose out of my hand at the moment, I just don't want to use anything els
Dolphin smooth, no stress.

I'm sorry, but given the bad taste about condoms and Wickham's samples left in shaving bowls previously, these references to animals are just going that little bit too far. Please control yourself, Wayne!

A breathtakingly good shave this morning with the brand new 0.68mm base plate by @Timelessrazor
Review to follow. This one...is the one to watch.

Also, shout-out to Barbus A/S. This is seriously the best $5-6/bottle A/S I've ever used :)

Alum rub & Rinse off
Massimo Dutti A/S lotion

Soap provided good cushioning lather, for this quite aggressive razor. I am convinced that the addition of longer handle makes it much easier to handle. Really enjoyed the challenge of getting an excellent shave out of the 1924 ,which can bite if not used with care.
