Evening Gents,

Palmolive stick
TOBS travel brush
Muhle R41
Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Witch Hazel
Tabac A/S
50:50 Tabac and T&H Sandalwood balm

Not used the Palmolive or Tabac for ages. Forgot how good they both were. Thought the Tabac might be too heavy in the balminess of tonight but it took on a different note from the off. The heat seems to have brought out the floral notes. Very pleasant indeed.

Not sure about the Gillette SB. Have used them before and found them middle of the road. The blade felt like a blunt saw during the shave but the end result was lovely and smooth. Not sure it's worth the torture though.

That a flashlight you're shaving with? Looks like it would take two of the large D batteries.

Razor: Progress SH
Blade: Astra SS
Soap:Arko stick
AS: Evin Limon 80°
Moisturizer: Arko Nem Olive

So apart from smelling like a lemons grove the Astra SS is a different world to the SP, very smooth, no cuts weepers or any of the other shenanigans the SP gave me. Up there just under the Lab blues for efficiency.

3P
Omega 49
MWF
7 o'clock OC on stainless handle
Swedish Super Steel
Myrsol Antesol

Not binned a blade on the first pass in a long time but that was the fate of the Rapira. They seem highly regarded on here so perhaps a bad blade? Lab blue certainly was a vast improvement.

Holiday Shaving Day 4

A native ingredient today bought on day one

Lucky Tiger Face Wash
Cold Water Splash
Grovesnor 404 Mixed
Fitjar Folgefonn Barberkrem
Digress LD
Permasharp Stainless
4711 ASL
Queen Charlotte Soaps Vostok ASB

Once again a great shave all in splendid peace and quiet save for the sounds of a resort waking up and the chirrupping of birds.

Have a good day

Jon

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Proraso pre-shave - sensitive
Soap: Wickham's Bay Rum
Bowl: Woodhead Large Tall Scuttle
Brush: MÜHLE Kosmo silvertip synthetic
Razor: Weber + Kronos handle
Blade: Schick (3)
After: Barbershop Bay Rum, St. James Mandarin & Patchouli ASB

Been enjoying using my scuttle all week with lovely warm lather throughout the shave.
I think I actually prefer the ATT's Kronos handle on my Weber head; gives it a tad more weight.
My verdict on this Schick blade, after using it in several razors, is that it's my least favourite out of the Russian sample blade pack I've been going through. Not really bad but not noteworthy.

Have a great day, guys.
