Monday

Afternoon, gents.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: Daiso T Type Dispo Razor (3)
Blade:
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave cream: Super Max
Aftershave: Pashana Bay Rum
Cologne: James Bronnley

Very good shave today: I've worked out the right touch for the Daiso Dispo.

Cold water shave:

Nivea For Men Sensitive Face Wash
Haslinger Schafmilch
M&F Blonde Badger
Digress LD
Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Myrsol Emulsion

First outing for the newly acquired Haslinger soap and second for the Digress. Latherability of Schafmilch is excellent, very slick with great protection, and the scent is mild but classy. Mightily impressed with the Digress too. I would absolutely give my right arm for a 100% stainless Digress!

Village Barber Oil
CJB Kamisori
Dorco Barber Blade (8)
Savon a barbe de lait d anesse
TOBS Imitation Brush

Used this french shaving soap - a mentholated soap made from donkey's milk - that I was kindly given by Darron (Fox). A very nice soap, but will need to try it more to get a proper idea.

Monday Musk

Bulldog Face Wash
Mitchell's Wool Fat Soap
Kent Infinity Silvertex
Swing Travel Razor - Gillette Silver Blue [3]
Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse & Alum Wash
Jovan Musk

Bowl Lathered
Two Pass - WTG & XTG

I got a new shaving soap bowl today, a bakelike Dubarry Silkashave into which it only seemed right to drop a puck of Mitchell's.

The razor is a '20s travel razor from Sweden, a Swing, into which I dropped a final run Gillette Silver Blue.

Cracking shave, although perhaps a little narrow on angle with the razor, but a couple of passes did it.

Smooth again ...

First day in the new job and although it's a bit early to judge I felt a much better atmosphere and better pace there, it seems.

Long comb New on Merkur 45 handle
Vitos Supercrema
Kent Infinity Silvertex
Super Iridium (2)
Arko Cool balm

Very good indeed. Better than when I had the merkur 45 head on the New handle

Good deal NTS,

Are you gonna be able to wear lipstick on Fridays like you were hoping? I know that's important to you.

Holiday Shave Day 3

Lucky Tiger Face Wash
Cold Water Splash
Grosvenor 404 Mixed
Fitjar Folgefonn Barberkrem
Digress LD
Gillette Rubies #3
4711 After Shave
QCS Vostok ASB

Bloody wonderful. Shaving outdoors as the day breaks, splendid. Helped by excellent products - the Fitjar meets expectations and the Vostok gives a lovely deep menthol "glow".

All the best guys

Jon
