Good clean smooth 3 pass BBS shave. The Dorco is definitely smoother than Feather Pro out of the box. The Feather has fantastic longevity though.

Will be interested to see how long the Dorco will perform, if they last 5+ shaves, then I will definitely be looking to source some........

How did your rather nice Shavemac get on with the Vitos?

Promising! I've become used to boars and my two-band, so I fluffed up the water ratio, leading to an initial lather that wa a thick but unprotective. The face feel was excellent though; very soft, fairly dense, and sufficient backbone to face lather satisfactorily. Flow is reasonable but understandably less willing to release lather than my Semogues. I'd forgotten how insulating a dense badger knot is too. I cold water shave and was surprised by how chilly the lather was!

I reckon I've got what I was looking for with it. Unfortunately, there may be a D01 monkey popping it's head up at some point soon. Bernd Blos and Shavemac provided excellent service - this custom brush took 4 working days from ordering to delivery, on their economy rate.

Not a bad shave but that Chubby really does want to keep its lather for itself. It needs to learn to share a bit more. Even though I've had the brush since August I still can't decide if I really like it or not.

A fine shave with the Aristocrat which is quite a mild razor. The Silver Blue works well in this razor no irritation.
