Got a sample of the P160 months ago and this is the first time I've tried it. Not sure if it's just my bit but I don't think it's as good as it's made out to be. I'll try a couple of test lathers later.

Darron generously sent me a sample of his soap. After a couple of shaves with it I must say I'm impressed. The scent doesn't do anything for me but the performance is top notch. It's the first time I would ever describe a lather as creamy!

Prep: Shower
Razor: Joseph Elliot 6/8ths
Brush: Omega 39 Boar
Soap: Bea Stick Grated
Aftershave: Astral Cream (light)

My fifth straight shave and a slight improvement in terms of my grip on the razor and trying to keep the correct angle. I watched several shaving videos yesterday and they did help.

A couple of small nicks , my large mole escaped but a lesser one took a hit! My main problem remains the same; the blade coming to a stop in places on my whiskers and I compensate by using more pressure which then results in a nick. It seems at times that the blade is 'chattering' or moving across my skin in little jerks even though my lather seems spot on.

I have a very long way to go and whilst I may have stepped off the first rung of the ladder, it is a one hundred rung ladder and the upper rungs are out of sight in the clouds!
