Polsilver Stainless (3)
Ecotools Kabuki brush
tabac
Freshwood a/s and balm

inspired by Rob Dery i got hold of this brush at the end of last year as my final acquisition for 12 months (hopefully) - it worked a treat! - it seems a bit short and soft but it worked very well as a face latherer so i'll be keeping it in rotation. nice handle too.

Razor: EJDE89 with Bulldog handle

Flip-68, I'm really pleased you're happy with the Ecotools: without me noticing, it's turned into my go-to brush and is a terrific, and cheap, face-latherer.

Been a while since I used a 7 O'Clock Black, great blade. That LPL soap is great, leaves the skin feeling amazing.

I just got my LPL sample in the post today. It's in my lineup for tomorrows shave.

It's good stuff.. I could live without whatever bit of scent is in it, but it lathers well, performs well and leaves the skin feeling great.

Friday iii January, 2014

Prep: Shower, L'Oreal Daily Purifying Wash
Brush: Dickinson & Gilroy Boar
Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Razor: Valet Auto-Strop (not sure of mode, if anyone knows please let me know)
Blade: Feather FHS-5 Hi Stainless
Post: Alum, Mentholated Tea Tree Witch Hazel (home brew), Weleda ASB

Result: Well, what a revelation. I was a little apprehensive going into this shave as it was an all new, untested line up. But, wow, did it deliver. The Valet was a delight, easy to use and the Feather blade was superb. MWF lathered beautifully and the D&G boar did its business in a manner old Messrs Dickinson & Gilroy would have been proud of. Terrific. A great start to the day.

Hope yours is as good,

Jon
