Face wash with Pears soap
Feather Artist Club SS - Pro Blade
Morris & Forndran L7
Martin de Candre Original
Myrsol Agua Balsamica
Penhaligons Lavandula

Nice shave but I'm a bit bored now…

Brush looks really nice, I am liking the Cobra a lot but having been loaned the ATT razor by a good chap on here, the Cobra has not been used for a wee while....

Feather AC SS non-folding
Feather AC ProGuard (1)
Muhle Silvertip Fibre, v2
DR Harris Eucalyptus cream
Lucky Tiger Face Tonic
Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

Two firsts:

1. First go with the Kamisori-style Feather. Loved it! Went crazy with two very gentle passes. I found the handle very manoeuvrable; shaving around the lips was straightforward and I experimented with using only one hand for one pass and both for the other. The jawline isn't too bad but working out how to attack my chin. I had a go but stopped when the blade seemed to start tugging. No irritation whatsoever but, then again, it's by no means a close shave yet.

2. First outing with the 23mm v2 iteration of the Muhle Silvertip Fibre. I wasn't particularly impressed. A very soft brush but I found the shape of the knot uncomfortable to face lather with. It felt oddly 'pointy' and I couldn't find the 'sweet spot' without mushing it right into my face. Painting motions improved it. I'll have to reserve judgement on this one and try it with more soap. I don't set much store by these English creams.

Cold water splash
D.R. Harris Windsor
Morris & Forndran Blonde Badger
Weber Polished / Bulldog
Gillette Silver Blue (1)
Clinique Post-Shave Healer, Clinique M-Lotion
D.R. Harris Windsor EdT

First shave with a newly-acquired Silver Blue. So far so good, sharp yet smooth.

The CC.

M1 & R1 plate... M1 is very mild, the R1 is more aggressive than my 38(c)

I am hoping for a shot of the OC R2 plate....

I've had both and I just couldn't get them to work for me very annoyingly. Currently watching the OC thread with great interest. Your post count is now 666

Hot shower
Hot flannel
MWF scuttle lathered
Simpson Commodore X3 best badger
Gillette 1961 Aristocrat adjustable on 6
Gillette Silver Blue (3)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lavender witch hazel
Aqua Velva Musk aftershave

Decent comfortable shave. The blade was getting tired towards the end of the shave. The Aqua Velva I like and first time out with it. The bottle pours poorly, as has been mentioned before on here. Enough poured in my cupped hand to splash my entire head :icon_rolleyes:

Saturday

Afternoon, all.

Prep: Claus Porto's Lime-oil face soap
Razor: EJDE89 with Bulldog handle
Blade: Derby (2)
Brush: Ecotools Kabuki
Shave cream: Kiss My Face unscented
Aftershave: Ice Dive
Cologne: Acqua di Parma

A good, fuss-free shave.

Prep: Hot flannel & Warm water splash (Saturday afternoon shave)
Pre: Village Barber oil
Cream: Nancy Boy "Signature" shave cream
Brush: Morris & Forndran 2-band "Blonde Badger", Style-1/3
Razor: Weber PH head on iKon handle
Blade: Rapira stainless (2)
Post: Thayer's Lemon witch hazel
ASB: G'Day Mate (From OZ) balm

First time using this "Nancy Boy" cream. Similar in texture to TOBS but very nice cooling scent. Took a little longer to build lather but got a lovely yogurty consistency.
