Happy Anniversary to the humble Ever Ready 1914!

I dropped a fresh blade into mine and thoroughly enjoyed every stroke in a shave that simply could not have been bettered. Not only was it a special shave, of sorts, but one of those shaves where everything came together in unison.

Prep: Tepid water splash
Brush: Grosvenor Badger & Bristle
Cream: Ingram's
Razor: Gillette Aristocrat 15
Blade: Gillette Super Silver #3
Post: Kiehl's Blue Herbal Astringent, Simpson's Vitalising ASB
Fragrance: Acqua di Parma Collezione Barbiere Colonia

Result: Still not getting a close shave from this combo; tomorrow will see a Personna Lab blue replacing the NOS Gillette Super Silver. Apart from that there is no irritation. Not getting the menthol hit I was expecting from Ingram's but it lather is wonderful.
