What an experience!

The soap is vintage and very old-fashioned. Paired with the shave from the vintage Rolls Razor blade and the Pinaud splash, I felt like I'd just walked out of a 1950s barber shop.

The soap worked, the blade worked, the shave worked.

Loved it!

Not sure of the cream, came in the blade bizarre and labelled strangely... but it was lovely!
The slant is back, it obviously didn't like the Astor blade and is MUCH happier with the Lab.

First outings for the blade and the Myrsol which were recent purchases from the BST. Excellent shave again with the ASD2 and the Myrsol finished it off nicely.

It's been a while since I used a Shark super chrome razor blade. A bit tuggy but I managed to reduce this right down by adjusting the shave angle.

Stirling Scots Pine shaving soap

Sir Irisch Moos (dabs behind the ears, back of the neck and on the wrists as I can still smell the Scots Pine shaving soap - and want to!)

Can't quite get the hang of these BiCs. They are sharp enough and fairly smooth but I get patches on the neck which are BBS then other areas stay patchywhatever I do. I'll keep trying them in different razors until I get a combination that performs just right. Surprisingly it wasn't nearly as good in the Long Comb New as the Progress.

I love the thick, cushioning lather from this rich tallow shaving soap. The smell is very strong (I like that but am not alwaysd in the mood for this particular smell). I am going through a pine phase again with this and the Irisch Moos.
