Today's Shave

Ikon OC Deluxe
Gillette 7oclock Super platinum (made in India)
Nanny's Cedarwood & Vetyver
Kent BK8 Brush
Superdrug Sierran Breeze aftershave Lotion
Ben Sherman toilet water, oops I meant Tramp piss.

Result job done **

** But not to my satisfaction it ain't, with the wording 'unbelievably Smooth' on the box, I beg to differ WTG it's ok, ATG not smooth at all

Was somebody shaving a dead rat whilst tripping on LSD to dream that one up? Each to there own and all that jazz.

Prep- Bulldog facewash
Pre- Proraso Crema
Brush- Men-U
Soap- Proraso green
Razor- Valet VC4
Blade- Feather SS
Post- Spieck AS

First shave with this razor, what a marvel, two WTG slow passes producing a very close non irritation shave removing two days heavy growth like a hot knife through butter. :icon_razz:

Friday xvi May, 2014

Prep: Hot shower, Dove Men+Care Revitalising Face Wash
Pre: Cold water splash
Brush: Coate's FitzWilliam
Cream: Erasmic Old Formulation
Razor: iKon 2pb
Blade: Ladas Super Stainless #3
Post: Kiehl's Blue Herbal Astringent Lotion, Kiehl's Ultimate ASB
Fragrance: Knize Forest Toilet Water

Result: Last of the Ladas blades in my stash. They are good, but not, for me, the best of the Russians. My NOS Erasmic is now also nearly finished and it has been an excellent cream. It's now earmarked, along with other creams that are nearly finished, for holiday shave duty.

Have a nice day, gents.

Top notch, three quick passes and done. I'm sure the Streamline is my favourite SE, although the 1912, OCMM and Clug-Pruf are all pretty close.

I had the Bechet45 inspired 'Dodgy' shave this morning. Very pleasant shave. Those two know a good set up. The Midas brush is a really nice shape and size, made with a nicely turned lump of ebony wood and imitation ivory. MkII of this brush is available on his Etsy store.
