I know ... I know ...

It's really late, or really early depending upon your point of view ... but, we had the tribe around today and they've all gone, we've washed up, dried up, put away and cleared up the mayhem.

Time for a relaxing shave ...

IMG_3145.JPG

Pre-shave was a nice shower, hot towels and a few squirts of Nuage Men
Ingrams Cream with an unbranded Pure Badger brush
Merkur 23C
SuperMax Blue Diamond Super Titanium Blade ... imported Swedish Steel
Witch Hazel

Thanks to ultrawomble who put me onto Ingram's. Wow! What a cream. This is what a cream should be like. I absolutely loved it! Lather was so easy and seriously thick, the menthol cooling and invigorating as I shaved and really built up with each pass and re-lather. Love it!

I'm still very new to DE shaving, but the SuperMax Blue Diamond Super Titanium Blade is the first blade I have clicked with. I could call this "my sort of blade". I get it, now. Perhaps you folks could answer me this ... I've seen SuperMax blades for sale, but not ones that state "Imported Swedish Steel" on them. Is there a difference?

Post-shave was simply witch hazel. It's bed time ... no need for an aftershave lotion.

Cheers all.

Greetings

I've just bought some felt from eBay to line a razor case I've 'commissioned' one of my GCSE students to make. It's an excuse to raise his feelings of self worth, in truth, but I'll still make use of it even if the outcome product is dubious. It's just cheap plywood and possibly some stained pine - the excess from his actual coursework. I certainly need a new container. I've somehow gone from 3 razors to 8 after spending many months carefully minimising the collection! The trouble is, with the dimensions I've given him, there's ample space for 15 razors...
