Tuesday

La Toja cream
Semogue 2012 SE
FaTip Piccolo
Rapira Platinum Lux
Fitjar Mint ASB

Super close, perhaps a bit too close today, I ended up with a couple of weepers which is unusual. Nice lather from the La Toja which I haven't used for ages.

Monday evening

Clinique face soap
Merkur Progress XL
Personna Lab Blue
Simpsons Chubby 2
Tabac soap
Proraso AS

Wow what a shave. Only the 4th time I've used the Tabac since buying it and I probably went overboard on the amount of swirls to load the Chubby but the brush does like it's product. Really fantastic lather. Took my time, no rush, and was rewarded with some of the best lather I've had off the Chubby yet.

The Progress/Lab BLue is also a superb combo.

All in all, not just a close, smooth shave, but thoroughly enjoyable 40 odd minutes enjoying one of the best shaves I've had.

This is exactly what I started DE shaving for.

I'm still hyped about it this morning.

Prep: Village Barber oil
Soap: Stirling Orange Chill
Brush: Simspons Chubby 2 - 2 Band
Razor: Weber DLC/UFO U2
Post: Village Barber Balm /444

What a bloody good shave! The smell and menthol in this soap is amazing. Lathered up easily plenty of cushion and slip.

Will load slightly longer next time. Lovely lovely lovely!

Hot shower
Hot flannel
TOBS Lavender cream scuttle lathered
Simpson 59 best badger brush
Gillette Popular 47
Lord Platinum (1)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lavender witch hazel
Speick aftershave

Clean and comfortable shave. The Popular 47 I find isn't the smoothest razor to use, the smoothness of the Lord made it more useable. Super sharp blades can give me a bit of irritation in this razor. Continuing with the open comb theme until the end of this month. I will have shaved a full month only using the open combs :icon_rolleyes:

TUESDAY EVENING

Prep: Warm rinse
Razor: Gillette New long comb
Blade: Rapira Super Stainless
Brush: Muhle V2 synthetic
Soap: Tabac stick - face lathered
Post: Witch hazel, Bulldog balm
EDT - TOBS Jerome Street

Am on holiday in Brizzol with my wife so tonight's shave was using my travel kit which comprises of the above.

A very nice shave. This setup works very well for me, and the Muhle makes an excellent travel brush as it dries so quickly.

In face, it has surpassed my Wee Scott as my favourite travel brush so I shall be releasing my WS into the wild shortly!
