The razor and the brush both recent acquisitions from BST worked very well indeed. A lovely smooth nick and weeper free shave.

With my big hands the razor was a pleasure to use fits the hand very well, I thought it might feel heavier but not a problem at all.

Spieck AS balm.

first time I've used the Speick balm. It smells lovely and feels as though it has great "healing" properties which is just as well as my skin has been feeling very tender recently. BBS but I think I need a few days on the gentlest cream, blade and this balm and I probably need to drink more water...

SATURDAY MORNING

Prep: Warm rinse and Prep cream massaged into beard
Razor: Kai Captain Excelia
Blade: Feather Proguard
Brush: Simpsons Chubby 1 in best
Soap: Tabac stick - face lathered
Post: Witch hazel, GFT sandalwood skin food, Proraso balm

Very nice shave this morning, and no nicks! Am well into double figures on this blade now.

Put on two lots of balm as the skin food didn't feel that moisturising on it's own. I think, for me, it might be more of a summer balm.

Gillette old type
Gillette green(5)
Bodger
Monsavon
Woodspice aftershave and balm

Brush has become very soft which is a revelation. Lovely soap too, generated mounds of lather :)
