Monday:

I seem to be getting through the MWF rather quickly - I've only had this since Christmas! I have used it nearly every day and had several test lathers because I couldn't get it right, but I suspect submerging it during the shower (which is how I WAS going it) dissolved and wasted a lot too. I'm sure the next puck will last far longer.

EJ89
Morrisons Blade
A Dash Of Olive Oil
Palmolive Cream
WS Brush

All a bit budget I'm afraid!

Sorry tried to post a link to the pics, not sure why I can't get it to work!

First ever shave with my grandfather's 1912 Ever Ready
He was a shepherd so I felt it only right that MWF was the soap of choice

Prep: Shower
Razor:Ever Ready 1912
Blade: GEM
Brush: Edwin Jagger - Super Badger
Soap: MWF
Alum Block
ASB: Village Barber

Different from my usual DE shaves
Open comb is always a bit closer I find and less forgiving than DE
First time the razors had a run in 44 years - he died in 1970 and I doubt it's seen the light of day since
A bit like the R41 - it'll need a wee bit of practice and getting used to but I'm here for the long run!

I thought the 1912 was the SE version of the DE89, mild as Tetley's!

When you feel the urge, I can lend you the GEM Micromatic Open Comb (I am sure the 1912 is closed?)

It is known by the person who Pif'd it to me as Dracula.......

Like the transfusion service, you get a badge every 25, 50, 75 shaves!
