Prep: Shower
Razor: GEM OCMM

A super close shave, for me, nothing shaves quite as well as the OCMM.

Kent T4
Martin de Candre fougere (from a sample by a generous member of TSR)
Filly 13 DT, white scales
Weleda After Shave Balm
Creed Green Irish Tweed

Perfect finish to a perfect shave!

Monday evening

Merkur Progress
Trig razor blade
Vie-Long horse hair brush
Mitchell's wool fat soap
Superdrug Sierran Breeze AS

The horse hair brush created a truly excellent lather with the MWF. I remain very impressed with the Vie-Long brush especially as it cost less than a tenner.

One of the best shaves I've had yet with MWF, and my face feels excellent this morning.

A friend and his wife spent the night after Super Bowl 48. Next morning we hit the shave cave and tried out his bottom dial. Wonderful, beautiful, but he had a bad case of RAD and drop $1,200 for it. All I want is a picture - too rich for me, but a beautiful piece for his collection here in the Pacific Northwest.

Hot shower
Hot flannel
Razorock XXX scuttle lathered (Thanks to 'Hairsuite')
Simpson Milk Churn best badger
Gillette Flaretip Rocket
Feather (1)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lavender witch hazel
DR Harris Arlington aftershave

A top shave most enjoyable today. I used the Razorock a sample courtesy of 'Hairsuite' very nice scent shame it's now no longer available. The razor I call 'Georges razor' it was one of three inherited from the estate of a old friend who passed on last year. Dave at Restored Razors has re plated it in Nickel a fine job he's made of it too. Good to use the Arlington again after a few months break.

Pre: Village Barber oil
Soap: Mr. Fox's "1902" Lemon Zest hard soap
Brush: Simpson Tulip-1 (Super)
Razor: Weber PH with Templ8 custom handle
Blade: Supermax Blue Diamond Platinum (2)
Post: Thayer's Lemon witch hazel
AS: Captain's Choice "Lime", followed by Proraso balm

Soap lathered with some effort. It's thirsty and delivered lather that lasted for the 3 passes I needed. Very nice BBS.

Ever Ready E-Bar
PAL Blue Carbon [3]
Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse, Alum Wash & Witch Hazel

Ahhhhh ...

Lovely mentholated soap and a soothing aftershave set following a slightly rough one day shave with the last of the edge on this PAL blade.

Right! Time for fencing ...

Shower
Village Barber oil
Le Pere Lucien soap
Simpson TSN P8 brush
Gillette Rocket HD razor

Well after a nice illness that my daughter got from school, and gave to me and the wife......that was sublime.

Prep: Cold Water Splash, a squirt of Nuage Shaving Oil on my neck
Razor: Aristocrat #16
Blade: Astra SP (1)
Brush: Rod Neep African Stone 26x48 Extra Silvertip
Soap: VITOS Super Extra Coconut
Post: Witch Hazel Splash
Aftershave: Floid 'The Genuine'

An Awesome 2 pass cold water face lather shave, couldn't fault it.

The #16 is such a smooth shaver, i haven't used it for a while for some reason (read far too many razors). That and my Red Tip Rocket are my favourite Gillette Safety Bar razors.
