S.O.T.D. Sat. 14th Sept. to Frid. 20th Sept. 2013

Wednesday 18th September

Brush: Omega 20102
Cream: Ingrams
Razor: EJ89 Barley
Blade: Supermax Blue Diamond (3)- single shim
Post: Witch Hazel

Superb shave. I was a bit dubious as to how the blade would be because it felt a bit rough on the last shave with it, but it must have been down to the lather or something as it was great today. The Ingrams was good too, it's been far too long since I've used it, it would have been perfect for the hot summer days, not these cold autumn ones...

Anyway, great shave, although I couldn't decide on an AS, so I haven't used one yet. I don't really need it but I'll still use one. Probably Steve's Bay Rum.

Morning all!

Tuesday evening

Prep : Clinique face soap
Razor : Merkur Progress XL
Blade : Big Ben
Brush : Simpsons Chubby 2
Soap : Proraso green tub
Post shave : Proraso Splash

Exactly the same as the previous day, exactly the same excellent shave.

Quite like the big Ben blades in the Progress may have to try them in another razor to see if theyreally are any good.

If only I could have the same nice shave every day (ahem)

Took a long look at the beard I've been growing since Thursday night. Stubble is long and wiry but there isn't as much density of hairs as I was hoping for so I don't think I would get a big, bushy beard. I just look scruffy!
Off it came except for the moustache which I'll keep for the rest of the week to keep the wife happy.

Floid Vigorosso

Really easy and enjoyable shave. Amazing how easily the stubble came off - all gone in two passes. Didn't go for bbs as my skin is feeling really good and I don't want to spoil it. I'll try to go for a shave that looks close more than feels close.
