Trying out morning shaves as part of a new regime. It feels quite nice to be so fresh and smooth as soon as I get to my desk at work.

i think this blade has come to the end of it's life - nearly. I hear a lot of people say the cella can go rancid - mine started to smell a bit nasty so i took the lid off the container and it has gone back to it's usual self.

Blade: Treet 'Black Beauty' Carbon
Brush: Semogue SE 2012 Mixed
Soap: Tabac Stick grated
Aftershave: Astral cream (light)

A near perfect shave. My first use of the Treet uncoated carbon blades and I got a superb shave with them, they do (in common with all modern carbon blades I have tried) tug a little, but not enough to make the shave unpleasant in any way.

I am unsure if I prefer them to the Treet Durasharp blades which are also carbon but have a coating, both blades I like. It will be interesting to try them in a 'New'.

Blade: Supermax Blue Diamond (3) with shim
Post: Witch hazel, Blue Stratos

Apart from decapitating a spot on my chin, this was a lovely shave. The Tubby copes so well with everything, probably my best purchase to date. The tabac always leaves my skin feeling fantastic post shave. Very nice.
