toastwars said:Hi really impressed with the collections here wondered if you could shed any light on this set, I have not seen one with the leather case before, is this rare?
It is made in england with no date code but I am guessing 1939 as one of the blue blades is a J date
toastwars said:It looks factory made and is of the right age/patina and smells of old bathroom cabinets. If it was custom made it .was done very well as it is a perfect fit
dodgy said:Hiya,
Man, that last shave den post by Michael.....I hadda look away a few times and then come back to those pics. Waaay too much to try and absorb all at once. That could hurt! Bad enough I still got the spins a few times, even with limited viewing. Jeez, there is some stuff in that arsenal.
Looks like ohhhh, 6-8 cased Fatboys and a bunch of other Gillette adjustables. Are my eyes messed up, or did I see three Toggles? There's gotta be a name for a trio or more of Toggles.
Pretty crazy collection you got there. Thanks for posting what you did.

Oh, have you met a member named sudburyboy yet? Yes, Steve often takes an interest in other member's razors.....very helpful.
