Shave Of The Day Saturday 8th -Friday 14th July

SOTD
Prep: shower and face wash nivea for men sensitive.
Brush: Vulfix Grosevenor
Cream: T&H Apsley, love this cream so much.
Razor: 1930s Gillette New with Gillette silver blue blade
Post shave: Alum block

A good shave despite the tendancy to rush that I have, the Apsley cream smells amazing and is just as good if not better than 1805 which I have used I am now looking I to trying all the other T&H scents, my next SOTD will probably be with the Gillette Senator as that should land this week.

Post~Thayers Rose Petal~ Jojoba oil

As it is Sunday I thought I would treat myself to a shave from my ER 1912 fitted with a Pal Super carbon blade, and what a treat it was.
The Fat was whipped into a wonderful creamy lather with my 1305 and Little Wren lathering bowl and i was treated to a super smooth shave that left my skin feeling not only super smooth but supple and irritation free, what a razor & blade combo! The Stainless steel Art Deco style handle I fitted not only looks great on the Razor but the added weight and length was for me just perfect.
I finnished off with a refreshing splash of Thayers and once dried applied a little Jojoba oil as a moisturiser. A body spray of Molecule 01 and I am looking and smelling great.

Just had to Shave with a Streamline the last modern SE Razor, as there seems to be a lot of interest in the new S/S Razors using Gem Blades.

It Is very easy to load, and I find that it is one of the few Razors that shaves well with a new Blade.
I am lucky that I get good shaves with the Streamline, as I probably used one more than any other
Razor in my early SE shaving Days.

Using a light touch with no pressure, I had a nice easy smooth Shave with a finish perhaps only equalled by the likes of the OCMM , though those who have the skill to bring old blades to life
may well disagree.

Prep: Warm shower:/Cussons Imperial Leather: Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel .

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits~Coconut & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush:Semogue 1305.

Bowl Lather.

Cream + Soap : Ingram Menthol + Palmolive 'Classic' Shave Stick . (Disc)

Blade: Gillette Wilkinson Sword~ Saloon Pack.(2)

Razor: Sharpy England HD.

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Peppermint Oil & Witch Hazel Mixture/Benjamins~ Mentholated Bay Rum./ Aloe Vera Gel.

Adidas~ Ice Dive EDT.

Today i carried on experimenting with the remainder of the palmolive stick disc ,mixing it together with a small amount of the Ingram cream this time though, i didn't bloom it.The verdict?
A wonderful creamy lather , which was more than enough for the shave.

A mild smooth, but efficient 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.

The star addition to my sunday shave was the Gillette Wilkinson Sword Saloon Pack blade,a superb blade.it gave the Sharpy England HD a extra bite.. I'll be giving these blades more attention in my future shaves.

My Face is feeling super smooth & smelling wonderful.;)
