Maca Root shaving cream
EJ 23mm Synthetic
ATT SE1 / Feather Pro (9)
Organic Aloe Vera Gel

I picked up a sample of Maca Root from The Body Shop today to give it another try... totally different scent from what I tried a couple years ago, much fresher and pleasant (I wasn't very keen on the old scent). Anybody else found this??

I've got a pot of the shave cream it's really nice

Evening chaps thought I'd post my shave from this morning
Pre: hot shower and bulldog face scrub
Razor: feather artist ss with pro blade
Brush: razorock plissoft 22mm
Soap: Wickhams super smooth spice trade
Post: cold water and lucky tiger face tonic
Scent : Davidoff cool water
Really refreshing shave, soap and scent combo work a treat, going to purchase some old spice at the weekend but I feel the cool water is a perfect match for the soap, enjoy your evening chaps.
One more working day till the weekend.
Cheers chaps

Soap: Proraso menthol & eucalyptus+ 4 drops of Glycerine in the soap tub

A/S: Proraso menthol & eucalyptus .

A menthol thursday shave today, the M&E Proraso soap/croap like all of the Proraso soap's is a excellent performer, giving me a wonderful 3 pass +pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report, i've been pretty impressed with the Chinese unbranded synthetic brush, 1 of the 3 that my mate kindly gave me, i shall be trying out one of the Horse-hair brushes, at the weekend. Enjoy your day, gentlemen.

+1 on Proraso Green products for shaving and ++1 on the menthol and Eucalyptus AS...it's long been my absolute No. 1 splash. (I would highly recommend trying it in combination with Proraso Green pre-shave cream and P&B Denali croap ;):))

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage 1964 rebranded Macys silvertip flopmeister
Schick F type/Schick Plus Platinum NOS 1990
Kramperts Bay Rum Acadian Spice SC
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
Givenchy 'Xeryus' EdT vintage juice black bottle

Last couple shaves have been with this 75 year old injector and man, I think this is a great item whenever it's used. For years my favorite model was the adjustable but once I tried this goofy looking F modelI put the adjustable away.

Smoothest shave and also extremely comfortable...plus it feels real good in my hand and looks purty too!

This shaving cream is getting a bit dried out after maybe three years and needs a little blooming in hot water to make lathering up quicker and easier. Still has that same excellent scent and very good performance. To my nose, Mr Kampert's bay rum version reminds me of the extinct Barbershop Bay Rum aftershave. Not a dull mix at all with plenty of pop.

BBS results,

Martin

Had time for a more casual early evening shave today, so I took my time with my Gem...I always like to take it slow with this one.

The shave: Hot shower and Proraso White pre-shave cream / Blue's soap applied with my oldest brush - an ancient EJ badger / Gem razor (I used a modern Gem blade, not the ones in the pic, which are the original ones that came with the razor) / Mitchell's Coal Tar soap wash + rinse / Witch hazel splash + rinse / Old Spice AS (again not from the bottle in the pic, but some of the new stuff) / Nivea balm.

The bottles in the picture are vintage, but I do use them...A vintage embossed Boots witch hazel bottle, containing modern Boots witch hazel; the Glycerine bottle containing, er... glycerine (from Boots); and the bottle labelled 'Spirit of Sal Volatile' (which in olden days was used to make smelling salts) now contains 'Tend Skin', which is great for several razor-related issues, including burn and ingrown hairs.

A very traditional theme for today! Happy shaving all;):):)
