I'd like to nominate this as a TSR watch. Wasn't allowed one as a kid so I had to learn tables.

Life size photo.

I wasn't allowed one when my folks offered to buy me a watch either - so I saved my pocket money to get one. Took months at 50p/week but I did it.

I had a mate at Uni had one of those calculator watches. I remember him interrupting a particularly hot session I was about to have with my then girlfriend, trying to demonstrate some alleged flaw he'd found in Einstein's special theory of relativity (I was a physics student) and type calculations into that thing.

I like my Casio G-shock.

It's Dust-proof, Water-proof, got a 1/1000 Stop-watch, 5 Alarms, 24hr Timer, Light, Atomic time synchronisation, World cities times, Solar-powered.

Now, I just need to remember where I put the bloody thing!

I loved my G-shock too however I eventually (after years) found it too bulky and ended up giving it to my brother when he started police training.

Now they ARE 50p. And a wind-up one is two grand. How times change, eh?

That watch is hideous, a classic example of something trying to imitate a good product rather than actually just trying to make a good looking watch and Americans trying to be more European than Swiss watch makers...

Ok, so I have a bit too much time on my hands but was curious to see how much the watch would actually cost and have found the items online, some aren't exact matches by any means however looking at what they're made of etc. I think you can make a rough deduction on the price and I think that dependent on mainly the mechanism in the watch they're either overpricing by nearly $100 or they're actually close to the amount that it costs, however it does beg the question why such an expensive mechanism is needed in a watch that a) looks crap & b) is nothing more than a fanboys merch piece which as pointed out before just goes to show they went to flaunt their apparent wealth.

However I must say that in general there are way too many people that think hideous things look good just because of a price tag.

If anyone is actually interested links to my 'research' is included below, yes I am that sad....

I was curious however to see for between £100 and £194/$300 what sort of watches were available, as you might have guessed some very nice watchs without ewoks on them... I realise taste is completely subjective but I'm sure someone can find one they like here:

Amen to that.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if half those signing up don't actually care what the damn thing looks like, they just want to get onto the list of 'Acceptance'.
Not wearing the right trainers? Cant be in our gang...

Admit it.......... you thought about "PC" first before you thought about "TSR" ;)

If we get those can we have a TSR & B&B face off, we can have a fight with them, us with our blinging & blinding sovereign rings and them with their B&B watches. The winner can be whoever has the most logos of the opposing team embossed on their body...
