Limited run of 100 and they have 77 saying yes to one and 1 saying yes to 2?!?!?!

I think comments about that forum becoming a "Private Members Club" are true.

That is really pretentious however it suits the "the more expensive the better it is" mantra they have there although I know $300 isn't that much for a good watch.

No offence to anyone who has ordered one, but it strikes me as a bit . . . . well, tacky.

A B&B mug, yes.
A T-shirt, maybe.
A watch, no siree.

When they were doing the 40th anniversary of the first moon landing last year I considered buying myself an Omega Speedmaster until I realised the cheapest I could get one for was about £1500.

cheese_dave that was an historic moment, this idea from B&B is only there to alienate those who love this site but can't afford to be in the "boys club"

Clearly another example of the Hive mentality.
Some time ago there was a suggestion that there might be a B&B t-shirt, but any other suggestion were invited.
So I wrote in suggesting that a B&B dressing gown would be of far more practical use than a t-shirt - something on the line of a mid-blue with a pattern of B&B logos that look like polka-dots at a distance but disclose themselves as badger-heads when examined close up.
My suggestion was not taken up so it would seem that the patrons of B&B already have enough dressing gowns.

I love it when Yanks try and "do" classic European taste.

I mean, that typeface on the numerals.

Nooooooo!

Oh dear oh dear.
