Firstly, Happy Anniversary!Tenth wedding anniversary today (no that's not what made it crap) . Managed to break a champagne flute yesterday evening while prepping to cook an anniversary meal tonight, and sliced the knuckle on my left hand ring finger down to the bone Cue copious amounts of free-flowing claret, and all minor injuries units shut as it was past six pm. Left A&E after three hour wait and being told I was nowhere near the front of the queue and it would be "some time after 2am" before they'd get to me.
Back to minor injuries this morning with the finger still showing no sign of clotting to be stitched and bandaged. Bank holiday beard might be in order as being left-handed I'm not sure I trust myself with a razor currently
Cheers Chris!Firstly, Happy Anniversary!
Secondly, where's the spirit of the Welsh dragon? You've survived a broken champagne flute, I'm sure you'll cope with a right handed straight razor shave.
Thirdly, hope your hand heals soon. It won't be much fun having your razors, fountain pens and Pornhub taunting you.
It's a sign, an omen, tough year ahead!Tenth wedding anniversary today (no that's not what made it crap) . Thanks Paul. It's actually the same finger that I sliced with a blade while trying to fix my misaligned Futur copy a short while ago. And on that occasion I did stupidly apply a styptic stick to see what it would do.Happy anniversary to you and your wife.
Did you try rubbing your alum block on your knuckle!
Paul.
But did it work? Thanks Paul. It's actually the same finger that I sliced with a blade while trying to fix my misaligned Futur copy a short while ago. And on that occasion I did stupidly apply a styptic stick to see what it would do.Well it made be jump six foot in the air and the neighbours four doors down were left in no doubt that I was a little perturbed
This is a good corner of the InternetYou REALLY don't want to know, but I'm glad there is an opportunity to post. Sometimes just having the chance to share is enough. And the responses I've had on this forum to various posts convince me that there are a lot of nice people out there, being honest but in a nice way.
I'm happy to be a member and......shite day but better for this forum
Nope- there is a limit. I think I'd have needed on of those Army trauma packs with Woundstat in it!But did it work?
Finding out two of my ex-fire service colleagues have passed on this week.
