Throughout the shave something just didn't feel right. I've used this combo loads of times and had flawless shaves. I just knew in my head something wasn't right.

At the end of the shave I was proven correct. Neck quite red and spotty.

Second shave with the R41. No nicks or cuts this time around, a bit sensitive after the shave, but getting there I think.​

Whew.....this razor/blade combo is a riot. The shave takes a few minutes longer because of the need to pay attention, which is a bonus....heh. There's something about the way this Kirby head feels on my face......pretty darn fun.

After a week of excellent shaves with the Fatboy, the Red tip made an impressive comeback today, dispatching the stubble with utter ease. In my vintage rotation, the venerable Red tip is still The Guvna.

Haven't used a super thin for ages. Very nice shave. Forgot to dial down after first pass so slim feels warm. Close and smooth though.

Very impressed with the Tabac. Produced a really nice cushiony lather and left my skin feeling really good.

A nice end to a great weekend. Also won some Castle Forbes balm on Fleabay for a good price so am looking forward to trying that.
 
I've really been neglecting my SOTD updates for the last few months - I must do better this year!
