A week of Weber shaving and I'm definitely a convert. Superb razor and tonight was no exception. A BBS finish, and on hols from tomorrow.
 
One Planet moisturiser.
Boots Fresh wood soap
Merkur Progress on 2 then 1.5 with bleue extra (4th shave)
Proraso post shave cream

Decent but not especially close. Some soreness so blade binned
 


Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Neep, 28 mm extra stuffed silvertip in Kenya stone handle
Razor: Edv Neiström, no 62 + GEM Junior for head
Soap: Nannys French Lavender
AS: Lavanda
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Uberclean :D

Late post yesterday, but the Shave was earlier, I don't shave every 12 hrs :)
 
thurs lunchtime

after the bad lather i made with the nanny's spearmint cooler, i decided as it was my half day and the daughter was having her nap that i'd practice at latering it. then i thought, i'd like to try to see what i caould do re:shaving in the kitchen, if say in a rush. so in the end no prep just the lather

given i had a 2 pass dfs on weds night, there was a hell of a lot of stubble comming off.

not a brilliant shave on the smoothness front, but an interesting experiment all the same

I love this razor, it gets in all the tight spots on my face that a bigger razor could miss. But my Beard is missing the straight razor and needs to be re-educated,
what a shame, looks like I will have to shave with more straights then:heart:
Note to my self the mini don't dig razor rock:mad:
Still got a Good BSS WTG but due to the razor rock... a bit off and not as comfy as should have been.

Even though the weather isn't nice any more, I'm still persisting with cold water shaving.

In a rush today. And I hate to go out without a shave. So a quick rinse, smear, wave of the blade and into the shower. Quite like the old days - in and out of the bathroom in a shade over 5 minutes.

The result. Well. I was clean and looked as though I'd had a shave. But I'll spend the rest of the day looking forward to having a decent shave in the morning.

Soap: Fume cool 2nd use, better but still dries quickly on my face.
