This morning:

Prep: Face wash, Imperial Leather bath soap
Razor: Feather Artist Club RG (wood), Pro blade (4)
Brush: New Forest Tubby 2
Soap: Taylor's Jermyn Street
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's Green Ginger
Scent: Penhaligon's Blenheim Bouquet

Lovely. Every time I use this soap I'm surprised and impressed by how good it is. I don't seem to be able to retain the information, somehow.
 
Today, a lavander shave!

"modern" Ach Brito Lavender shaving cream + Simpson Duke3 Best + Gillette Tech England Nº44 with Polsilver + Ach. Brito Lavender cologne with Herbíssimo balm

This new Ach Brito Lavender cream is good but the scent is very different to the old one: more herbal, musgo real-like, less lavender. It works pretty well anyway, as is lanolized.

And this Tech for me is too soft, I prefer more aggresive razors.

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep;

unknown blond horn badger
Schick M type adjustable injector/Gillette Platinum Plus (NOS 1970)
MWF
Lucky Tiger AS and Face Tonic
GFT 'Curzon' cologne (thanks Benefactor Bob)

Popped a fresh blade in the injector and man.....what a nice change of pace set up this is. One great feature with this injector is the very slim head profile, which makes reaching those tough to shave spots a snap. It also does an excellent job on my neck.

Result: Very, very clean :D
I was going to test shave my walkabout razor, besides it was a major PITA to hone it also had a no good edge (slightly warped blade I think). So I took the other test razor and boy what a difference! It was close to an uberclean shave and this blade shaved like a good Sheffield, smooth all the way :D

Another nice shave with this combo.

The skin food has almost gone but I've ordered some new stuff from Shaving.ie. Some Institute Karite balm, and some Prep pre post. Am looking forward to trying -them out but the skin food has set a high bar for me.

It's a shame slim twists don't get much mention but after today's shave, they are a lovely razor. Surprised me for sure.

You can't go wrong with Thäter and Valobra combo. Lather bomb!
