odd, have a closer shave on the left side of my face than on the right - would have expected the opposite as I am right handed but shave the left side with the left hand.

Nice shave nonetheless.
 
Prep: L'Oreal face wash (the bright orange one)
Shaving cream: D R Harris almond
Brush: E J Synthetic
Blade: Gillette 7 O'Clock green
Razor: E J Chatsworth Barley
Post: Body Shop maca root razor relief.

This is my first shave with a 7 O'clock green. A smooth, mild shave.
 
Prep: Hot shower with Soap and Glory body and face wash
Razor: Bluebeard's Revenge Scimitar
Blade Astra SP (1)
Brush: Bluebeard's Corsair Super Badger
Cream: Bluebeard's Shave Cream
Aftershave: Prof Blighty's ASB and a touch of Yellow Ginger to give it a little kick
Result: Smooth but not BBS. No nicks or irritation whatsoever. This Astra/Scimitar combo is hard to beat.

Not much stubble this morning as I had a very close shave yesterday. Setting the adjustable to mild and loading a Merkur was just the ticket to tidy up the old chops.

A lovely morning after the dreadful two weeks of rain, followed with a lovely two pass shave, and minor touch up.

AS: Tiger + TOBS Victorian Lime

Result: Very, very close :D
A small piece of Nannys Yushu in the bottom of the lather bowl made the Penhaligons a more nice and slippy experience :)

Today, a fresh portuguese shave!

Veleiro shaving cream + Semogue 1335 + Merkur Futur at 3 with Blitz #3 + Veleiro lotion with Herbíssimo balm

These days we have already warm weather here in the South, so I prefered to use more fresh shaving products like Veleiro. Shaving cream works really well although is not very fresh, but the after shave lotion... my god, is well, well mentholated! The bottle has a design which makes difficult to dosificate the amount of lotion you use, so I put too much in my hand and although I mixed with some balm I was numb face and my eyes cried, hahahaha. And is really perfumed, my girlfriend said I was perfuming the flat, hehehe

I good shave anyway, this Blitz blade is smooth!

The Astor was a limited edition to mark the 90th anniversary of the Simpsons brand. A great performer. T&H Rose has a delightful scent. And I was too lazy to take the photo again after noticing the Balm.
