The same as yesterday in terms of technique, ATG then a targeted XTG pass for another very comfortable BBS finish, i think i am getting the hang of this razor, smooth, not so sharp blade and 1 or 2 passes max.
Smelling like an early 1970's student party - in a good way ;).
Stay safe and enjoy your day all.

Superb soap qualities! Very nice scent, cooling sensation, and a creamy slick lather...love this!
A satisfying shave with the razor after stropping on pasted balsa and buffalo leather. 3 smooth comfortable passes for a dfs finish. The matching aftershave was chillingly cold...perfect for today's hot & humid weather!

Claymore Evolution
Feather Pro ( 2 )
Tuff Red A/S Lotion

Out today for the First outdoor Athletics meet at which I am Timekeeping. The Evo was a good choice today, as though the Shave was incredibly smooth it was efficient too. This Razor/ Blade combo really does work very well for me, as the Shave was really relaxing and without apparent effort, I was rewarded with a nice ultra close finish.

Up early this morning. 6am.... Let the dog out.

Then it was coffee time. A nice lidl Nespresso espresso pod, made tall into a large open Costa cup, with some nice heated and foamed milk poured over the top.

After that had gone down like a silk shirt (as my grandad George-Henry would have said about a perfect cup of tea) it was time to have a shave. I put Grandad 1920's to one side and picked up his son.... Good old Gillette Slim Adjustable.
Whipped me up a good helping of TOBS Royal Forest in my lil stoneware bowl and applied it to my awaiting chops. I love the smell of this stuff.
After a 2 pass shave on setting 4 WTG & XTG , I switched it down to setting 2 for a final pick up ATG on the areas needed.

The results were delightful, after a splash of cold water and a dollop of Proraso post shave Balm I was pretty much done. Only thing left to do was clean the bowl and brush of the remaining soap and a few squirts of the Montblanc Explorer, which harmonizes well with the Royal Forest.

I am now set for the rest of the day.

Enjoy your Sunday Fellas.

Brush: Frank Shaving Butterscotch & Badger
Bowl: Small stoneware thingy.
Razor: Gillette Slim Adjustable

Brush: Kent BK8
Bowl: My recycled T&H cream bowl
Razor: Mekur 39C
Blade Astra sp (2)
Post Shave: Alum

A good, three-pass Sunday shave; took my time and prepped well, so the result was a BBS outcome. Hadn’t used the rose cream in a while, and it was a nice change—a good way to start a sunny morning. Have a relaxing remainder of the weekend, folks.

Razor: Across The Tie G1
Blade: Gem Blade, 4th use
Brush: Yaqi Yaqi Green Obsidian Silvertip Silvertip Badger
Bowl: Captains Choice Copper Lather Bowl Standard Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: PAA High Jump 47 Puck
Aftershave: PAA High Jump 47 Aftershave
Balm: L’Oréal All In 1 Moisturising Cream Balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

Probably my mildest razor but I still love it. It needs a shallower than normal angle it seems but I got a much improved shave than the first time I used it, I think the new spare handle I had helped. I love this scent and the standard ck base is still a good slick soap. The Yaqi brush is a very soft silvertip, not very dense and all the better for it in my opinion.
Have a great weekend guys.
