Late posting of yesterday's shave.
With three day's growth, I thought I'd test the 6C on plate 2 to see how it would perform. . I would normally use plate 3 or 4. It delivered admirably, with no clogging.

The travel can of goo abruptly stopped this evening (I have had it a couple of years) with an offering short of a shave, so bar soap as an impromptu alternative. It worked out fine! Whatever the hotel soap is, it's got some residual slickness worthy of many a dedicated shave soap.

Actually, I'm really diggin' this replacement can of foam!

I don't think I've used a foam for ... well, decades? Yeah, I might well carry on with this can once I get home.

Have been travelling for the last few weeks... which is my 'excuse' for not posting the dailies. Anyway, back home, testing things again. This time it's the blade, Personna Lab Blue. Unusual: Felt 'rougher' than others in this razor, but very very sharp: exceptionally close after every pass. No irritation, usual amount of sting. If I can improve the technique a bit, this may become one of my preferred blades.

Soap: HC&C Its New And Not Named But Smells Oh So Nice Puck
Balm: Bart's Balm BEN KILBRECK Balm
Fragrance: Lattafa Suqraat EdP

A great scent on this soap sample sent from HC&C. It’s labelled Its New And Not Named But Smells Oh So Nice. A little cheesy but highly accurate! I’m not going to try to hard to describe it as my nose isn’t sophisticated, I think there’s some citrus, a little green but it’s a great fresh combination. I’ll message Pete at Hendrix to try and find out what it is and when it’s out but so far all I’ve not had a duff soap/oil from them!

Prep: Warm shower:/Nivea Men Power 24H Fresh Effect Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Wrights Coal Tar Bar Soap.
Brush: Semogue 1470.
Face Lather.
Frankensoap: Erasmic Shaving Soap+Cussons Imperial Leather Bar Soap+Van Der Hagen Scented Luxury Shaving Soap.
Blade: Voskhod Teflon Coated. (D2)
Razor: Parker 55SL Semi-Slant.

Post:
Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's, Cold Water Face Rinse./Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.3 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With 200ml of Care+Witch Hazel./Blue Stratos ASL./ Aloe Vera Cooling Gel.

Early morning shave.

An enjoyable close smooth shave to finish my shaving week off wonderfully.

A comfortable 2 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report. finishing the shave off with a few small drops of Aloe Vera Gel.

My face is feeling cool smooth & smelling divine. ;)
