I've used a different old Gillette each day this week & I'm surprised how well they've all shaved, even the mildest ones. A bbs result from the Tech in three passes and onto the New tomorrow.

I’d like to try a B&M soap and am likely to get Le Grand Chypre. I haven’t seen any reviews on the scent of this soap, sounds interesting though?

First time out with a BIC blade, very slighty juddery on the ATG pass, but perfectly serviceable.

This BIC today has produced a real FFS/BBS shave, zero nicks and no razor burn.

Four days in with the Timor, and it was still superb. Face actually BBS, neck definitely DFS. I am so impressed by this blade. The Shamrock Tweed sample lathered brilliantly - I've finally got the hang of loading the brush to face lather when working with a splodge in the base of a bowl! Understated, classic scent which the Clubman paired well with. No balm post-shave - My skin felt amazing after the splash of Pinaud so stright out the door it is. Into the snow What the hell is going on this Easter

Well, the blade felt smoother although not as efficient as yesterday.
3 Full passes for a DFS+ finish, a couple of areas around the chin still a bit rough to the touch but not to the naked eye, its a strange old blade for me this, funnily enough i do not have the same issues with the Wizamet SI which some say is the same blade?
I will run it out in the Rex again for its next outing and see if i can dial in a better shave.
Still a very comfortable finish and the regrowth from yesterday was even and comfortable - not harsh or prickly that can sometimes happen for me.
I really enjoyed the Arran soap and post shave, the Lochranza scent just pipping the Machrie to the top spot for me, although i do enjoy both sets i have.

I like the soap, the scent is quite sweet but distinctive..

Almost the same shave as yesterday. Only the brush has changed, the quality of the shave remains the same... Wonderful.

I would describe it as quite a bright scent with a slight spicy note it’s quite a different but very nice cologne type scent if that’s any help
